Gangtok - Darjeeling Quick Escape 4N - 5D Tour

Start early after breakfast for a full day excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft) and New Baba Mandir (13,200 ft). In case of permit issues or unforeseen circumstances, alternate sightseeing will be arranged. Nathula Pass requires a special permit issued by Sikkim Tourism on the day of travel and involves extra cost. Valid documents must be submitted seven days prior. Permits are non-refundable and closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

After breakfast ,start for a half day trip to Gangtok city (08:30am to 12:30pm) covering the Handicraft Centre, Flower show, Chorten Stupa, Institute of Tibetology & Bhakthang/Banjhakri Water falls. Afternoon drive to Darjeeling(6730 ft.). On arrival check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Early morning starts with a visit to Tiger Hill (3:30 AM) to view the sunrise. Return via Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. Later, enjoy the city tour (9:00 AM to 3:30 PM) including the Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park (closed Thursdays), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed Thursdays), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-help Centre (closed Sundays), and an outer view of the tea gardens.

After Breakfast, (Around 8:30am) proceed to Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station/Siliguri via Mirik Lake(110 km approx/6 hours drive). Enroute Gopaldhar Tea Estate, Pasupati Nagar (Nepal Border). (Extra vehicle charges will be applicable for Nepal Border to Pasupati Market).
